The Engineering Technician will provide technical support for tool design, fixture creation, and production processes, and assist engineers with improvements. This role involves creating standard operating procedures, collaborating on projects, using CNC machines, conducting time studies, and maintaining the lab. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in problem-solving and communication.
Key Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, or trade school and a minimum of 2 years work or military experience in a technical field
Knowledge of basic computer skills
Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings, schematics, and test procedures
Familiarity with the use of calipers and other measuring devices
General knowledge of the use and operation of basic hand and power tools
Experience with identifying, specifying, and implementing automation/robotic systems
Experience with SOLIDWORKS
Preferred: Experience in hermetic sealing as well as CNC machining and electroplating

This role is responsible for operating CNC lathes, inspecting finished parts, maintaining equipment, and contributing to a safe and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in CNC lathe operations; can work independently as well as part of a team; and has strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of CNC lathe machining experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Skilled in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, gauges, calipers)
Strong focus on quality, safety, and attention to detail
Preferred: Experience with Citizen Screw Machines
